Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Sr. Architect/ Project Manager for the US Federal sector.

The role leads design projects through all phases, collaborates with architects, engineers and PMs, and mentors junior designers. You will coordinate with clients and internal teams to shape design concepts for military construction projects and ensure compliance with codes and sustainability goals. We expect 12+ years of experience, US citizenship, and proficiency with Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• 12+ years of design experience in architecture, engineering, or design consulting.
• Experience leading complex projects from concept through construction.
• Experience on US DoD projects with federal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UFCs, building codes, accessibility, and sustainable design.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects through all phases from planning to construction administration.
• Develop innovative concepts and user-centered design solutions.
• Prepare design presentations and client deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relations.
• Mentor junior designers and oversee schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with codes, accessibility, life-safety and sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
