Job summary

BluePath Labs is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines for a federal client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on ETL/ELT, data modeling, lineage, and quality checks to ensure reliable dashboards and cost analyses.

Successful candidates will independently develop, validate, troubleshoot, and document pipelines and curated datasets, translating recurring needs into reusable components while operating onsite in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with SQL, scripting, ETL/ELT, data modeling, pipelines, reconciliation, lineage and data-quality controls
• Ability to build, validate, troubleshoot and document pipelines and data flows

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines for a federal client.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for reliable data flows.
• Create curated datasets, interfaces and data models for dashboards and cost data.
• Maintain data lineage and quality controls across pipelines.
• Document pipelines, integrations and data-quality controls.
• Convert recurring requirements into reusable components.
