Job summary

BluePath Labs is hiring multiple mid-level Data Engineers to support a federal client in Washington, DC. The role involves building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, developing curated datasets and data models, and ensuring data quality and lineage across dashboards and financial tools.

Successful candidates will independently validate, troubleshoot, and document data flows, while reconciling data and resolving access needs. The position is onsite and contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Experience with SQL, scripting, ETL or ELT, data modeling, pipeline development, reconciliation, lineage, data-quality controls, and documentation
• Ability to independently build, validate, troubleshoot, and document pipelines, integrations, and curated datasets; troubleshoot data flows; and validate analytical inputs

Data Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Location: Onsite - Washington, DC

Clearance: No active clearance required; TS/SCI preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $80,500 - $109,250

We are seeking candidates for multiple Mid-level Data Engineer positions supporting a federal client. These engineers will build and maintain pipelines that extract, normalize, validate, and integrate data. They will develop reliable datasets, interfaces, data models, lineage, and quality checks for dashboards, financial tools, and historical cost and price information.

Successful candidates will independently build, validate, troubleshoot, and document pipelines, integrations, and curated datasets. Responsibilities include developing ETL or ELT processes; reconciling data and maintaining lineage and data-quality controls; resolving data-access and integration needs; and converting recurring requirements into reusable components.

Minimum Requirements:

• U. S. citizen
• 4 or more years of relevant data engineering experience
• Experience with SQL, scripting, ETL or ELT, data modeling, pipeline development, reconciliation, lineage, data-quality controls, and documentation
• Ability to independently build, validate, troubleshoot, and document pipelines, integrations, and curated datasets; troubleshoot data flows; and validate analytical inputs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor's degree or permitted equivalent
