Job summary

M&C Saatchi World Services is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to support a federal contract. You will collect, validate, and analyze data from databases, APIs, and S3 to support performance reporting and dashboards.

You will collaborate with engineers, product, UX, and government stakeholders, turning complex questions into data-driven recommendations while leveraging Python, SQL, and AI-assisted tools in a hybrid environment across Washington, DC or New York City.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytical field.
• Python proficiency for data collection, cleaning, analysis, and repeatable reporting tasks.
• Working proficiency with SQL and relational data; ability to develop, validate, and explain multi-step queries.
• Experience acquiring and processing data from APIs, JSON/CSV formats, and Amazon S3 or comparable cloud storage.
• Experience working in AWS or another cloud-based data environment with strong data quality practices.
• Experience or interest in working with generative and LLM-based systems in analytics or client workflows.
• Ability to write concise, accurate reports and briefings for government or external stakeholders.
• Experience producing dashboards, visualizations, executive summaries, or recurring analytical products for stakeholders.
• Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving approach.
• Ability to manage multiple data requests and deadlines with clear progress updates.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze program, digital, communications, outreach, and operational data to identify trends and performance insights.
• Translate client questions into data requirements and analytical approaches; propose solutions.
• Develop, test, and validate SQL queries and data extracts; document logic and limitations.
• Use Python to support reusable data ingestion, cleaning, API calls, and reporting workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to develop and refine queries and data workflows; verify results before use.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams using generative/LLM systems to improve workflows.
• Maintain data quality, reconciliation, and standard operating procedures for recurring reporting.
• Produce clear, defensible government-facing reports, data summaries, and technical documentation.
• Support dashboard development and ad hoc analyses for government stakeholders.
