Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC in the Bethesda area seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect critical federal systems. In this hands-on role, you'll support vulnerability management, threat monitoring, endpoint security, incident response, and remediation efforts.

You'll work with cybersecurity and IT teams to identify risks, investigate security events, and drive corrective actions, leveraging enterprise security tools and strong communication to translate technical findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in enterprise cybersecurity operations.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, EDR/endpoint protection, patch management.
• Ability to document findings and communicate risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with federal frameworks (NIST, RMF, FISMA, CDM).
• US Citizenship and eligibility for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and SIEM events; investigate threats.
• Perform vulnerability management activities and remediation tracking.
• Administer and support enterprise cybersecurity tools and endpoint protection.
• Investigate incidents; perform initial triage and coordinate response.
• Collaborate with system admins and engineers to implement security improvements.
• Support patch management and secure configurations.
