Job summary

MBL Technologies is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity architecture, engineering, risk management, and authorization activities for a federal client. The role collaborates with government stakeholders to ensure systems meet federal cybersecurity requirements and maintain a strong security posture.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with A&A, ATO, RMF, and FedRAMP, contributing to design, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of information security experience.
• Experience with security architecture and security engineering.
• Experience with IT and cloud design, security, development, and systems engineering.
• Experience with federal A&A and ATO activities.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP and RMF requirements.
• Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, and information assurance across federal systems and cloud environments.
• Design, implement, assess, and maintain cybersecurity solutions and controls.
• Support IT and cloud design, security, development, and systems engineering throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in A&A and ATO activities.
• Support RMF and FedRAMP compliance efforts.
• Review architectures and security documentation to identify risks and gaps.
• Develop and maintain security documentation for authorization and compliance.
• Collaborate with system owners, engineers, developers and security personnel to embed security into design.
• Assist with remediation of vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Monitor compliance with federal cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Provide cybersecurity analysis, recommendations, and technical support to teams and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of the organization's security posture.
