Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Analyst for its Federal Strategic Cyber division in Warrenton, VA. You will research and analyze open source and classified threat reporting to produce threat intelligence products and briefings for internal and external partners.

You will develop operational-level trends, coordinate with customer components, and document TTPs to enhance situational awareness and contribute to cyber incident management exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 3+ years; or a PhD and 2 years.
• An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of education/degree.
• Demonstrated work experience in Cyber Threat Analytics.
• Experience working in Cyber Intelligence requiring, at minimum, a moderate technical acumen.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel 10-25%.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze open source and classified reporting to identify threat trends and produce threat intelligence products and briefings for partners.
• Document and report current and emerging threats that will exploit DHS stakeholders.
• Communicate, coordinate, share information with customer components.
• Document Indicators of Compromises and behaviors of TTPs used to infiltrate networks.
• Develop informational and analytic products daily to increase situational awareness.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics reports.
