Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Response Junior Analyst to join the CIRT team in the CISO organization. You will monitor, triage, and investigate alerts from SIEMs, collaborate with incident response and operations teams, and document all activities.

The role requires understanding of incident response lifecycles, cyber threats, and federal reporting requirements, with growth through training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of experience in information security or equivalent.
• Experience performing event and log analysis with security tools such as SIEM.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, common application layer protocols, and packet analysis.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyze and investigate incidents to determine scope and nature.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity Incident Response Teams for resolution.
• Document incidents and response activities in detail.
• Stay updated with cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Assist in developing incident response strategies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to investigate security issues and determine true/false positives.
