The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Montana seeks experienced, prosecution-oriented Assistant United States Attorneys to join its Criminal Division. Positions are available in Billings, Helena, and Great Falls.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
• J.D. degree and active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Residency within the district or within 25 miles; willing to relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute federal offenses in the Criminal Division.
• Represent the United States in hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Work with federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement to investigate and litigate.
• Draft motions, search warrants, and trial documents; appear before grand juries.
