Job summary

Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) seeks a Contracts Manager to own the contracts function for our growing federal portfolio. The role requires deep FAR/DFARS expertise, hands-on management of contract actions, deliverables, and compliance, plus P&L ownership across task orders.

You will partner with Finance and Leadership to track funding, burn rates, and reporting obligations, and may advance into end-to-end bid and proposal responsibilities. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/finance/contract management.
• 5+ years in government contracts administration or program control.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal contract types (FFP, CPFF, TM, IDIQ).
• Experience developing federal cost/price proposals.
• Familiarity with DCAA-compliant accounting and incurred-cost concepts.
• Experience tracking funding, burn rates, and contract-level P&L.
• Strong spreadsheet skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, QuickBooks).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer contract actions and maintain an accurate record of contract type and key terms.
• Manage deliverables (CDRLs) and ensure on-time, compliant submissions.
• Keep contract files audit-ready for DCAA/DCMA/CMMC requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements; advise leadership on contract law.
• Track task-order finances, funding, and burn rates; watch funding and period of performance.
• Own contract P&L; reconcile revenue, cost, and margin with leadership.
• Report on staffing; maintain headcount and labor-category reporting by contract.
• Prepare and submit COR monthly reports; coordinate invoicing with Finance.
• Build cost proposals and manage on-time submission of proposals.
• Manage subcontractor actions and support program reviews.
