Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced federal contracts attorney to act as a strategic legal advisor to Business and Sales leadership. This in-house role focuses on U.S. federal procurements, supporting opportunities from capture through closeout.

The attorney will embed with the business, translating complex requirements into actionable options while protecting the company’s interests. The ideal candidate blends legal rigor with practical business sense, guiding teams through options

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience at a law firm, U.S. government, or in-house legal department.
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience with U.S. federal government contracts and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and agency supplements (DFARS where applicable).
• Experience reviewing and negotiating federal contracts, solicitations, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, licenses, statements of work.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to explain complex requirements to business stakeholders.
• Strong business judgment and risk identification without impeding business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Federal Procurements throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with Sales, capture, contracts and delivery teams to enable federal business.
• Draft and negotiate federal contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements and related documents.
• Manage federal contracting risk and compliance with FAR and agency supplements.
• Support cross-functional operations and provide strategic guidance to leadership.
• Develop scalable processes to manage federal procurement and contracting efficiently.
