Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced federal contracts attorney to partner with Sales and delivery teams across the federal lifecycle.

You will advise on procurements, draft and negotiate agreements, identify and manage federal contracting risks, and help scale the legal function while enabling business objectives. The role requires a JD, U.S. citizenship and 5+ years in related settings; Top Secret clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• 5+ years of experience at a law firm, U.S. government, or in-house legal department.
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience with U.S. federal government contracts and procurement.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR and agency supplements, including DFARS.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating federal contracts, solicitations, and related agreements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Federal Procurements throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with sales, capture, contracts, and delivery teams to pursue federal business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate federal contracts and related agreements.
• Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks under FAR and agency supplements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers on federal contract issues.
• Provide practical contracting guidance to leadership to achieve commercial objectives.
• Improve processes to scale the legal function for federal work.
