Job summary

OCT Consulting LLC is seeking a Contract Specialist in Washington, DC to support federal acquisitions on-site five days per week. The role requires eight years of full-spectrum contract experience and a degree with relevant coursework. Candidates should be FAC-C or DAWIA eligible or possess an equivalent contracting certification.

The package includes a signing bonus and competitive benefits. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, with full medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of full-spectrum federal contract experience.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
• Must be FAC-C or DAWIA eligible or possess an equivalent professional contracting certification (CFCM or CPCM).
• Knowledgeable in FAR and federal contracting procedures.
• Proficiency with document creation and collaboration tools (MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, PRISM).
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet timelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with SMEs, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders.
• Must be a US citizen and within 90 minutes of Washington DC.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-award documentation and support post-award activities.
• Assist in contract closeouts as required.
• Support an acquisition office in the Contract and Procurement Series 1102 when needed.
