Job summary

Kaiva Tech, LLC seeks a Contract Specialist in Rockville, MD, to manage the full federal procurement lifecycle on-site. You will prepare SOWs, IGCEs, J&A, acquisition plans, and related documents, coordinate with program, legal, and finance offices, and lead or support CRB processes as needed.

The role requires knowledge of FAR, government contracting, and experience with PRISM/SharePoint. DAWIA/FAC-C coursework and a bachelor’s degree are preferred, with 3–5 years of federal contracting

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of FAR and federal procurement policies.
Experience with federal contracting lifecycle and agency regulations.
DAWIA or FAC-C coursework completed or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
Experience with federal contract writing systems (PRISM).

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate acquisition documents (SOW, IGCE, J&A, AP).
Track and report acquisition package status with program office.
Conduct market research for acquisition strategy and competition determinations.
Perform cost and price analyses for contracts, including cost-reimbursement.
Prepare negotiation memoranda, award recommendations and contract files.
Oversee post-award administration including modifications and closeout.
