Siemens seeks an experienced sales engineer to drive federal and defense projects in the Southeast market, focusing on Low/Medium Voltage switchgear and related products. You will develop relationships with general and electrical contractors, pursue government opportunities, and support bids and proposals.
The role requires 5+ years in federal procurement or 10+ years in sales, plus deep LV/MV product knowledge. Travel ~10% and US work authorization are expected.

This position will be remote/hybrid in the South East market.
Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the development, management, and support of general and electrical contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects
Active involvement in special interest groups (business development), with a federal and defense focus, to build and develop relationships that benefit Siemens and targeted contractors.
Active participation in the development and implementation of business strategies, forecasting, and maintaining opportunity pipeline for all federal/defense projects within sales area.
Product support to include but not limited to; Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products.
Use of comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes, Federal compliance, security clearance, and strong military acumen to develop solutions and prepare proposals for Federal customers.
Continuous engagement throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful implementation of government and contractor objectives.
Commitment to staying current on the latest industry technology and Federal trends and market drivers.
