Job summary

gpac is assisting a leading General Contractor in Texas with the search for a Construction Quality Control Manager on a Federal project. The role centers on developing QC procedures, conducting inspections, and maintaining audit-ready documentation on-site.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction, a degree in construction, and at least 5 years in QC, with familiarity in USACE or Federal projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction, with USACE or Federal projects.
• Degree in construction or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in a Quality Control role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies.
• Create and maintain documentation for quality inspections, audits, and reports.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections on construction sites and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify and address quality control issues and provide effective solutions.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality control requirements.
• Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
