Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Manager for Federal construction projects in Kitsap, WA. You will lead multiple facets of project delivery, from cost control and scheduling to engineering and personnel management, driving successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

You will build and maintain relationships with clients, supervise diverse teams, and guide project strategy through startup, execution, and close-out, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met across the program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management for construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for the role.
• Proven ability to manage construction teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple aspects of project controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and personnel management.
• Oversee project startup, progress, and close-out activities.
• Develop personnel development and recruitment strategies.
• Manage contractual issues and maintain customer relationships.
• Accurately forecast costs to complete the project.
• Lead and develop the project team, ensuring accountability.
• Resolve problems with final authority and alignment with goals.
• Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
• Flag issues to the Program Manager to ensure project success.
• Review and approve preliminary schedules and cost projections.
• Ensure adherence to site safety rules and procedures.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.
