Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Federal Construction Project Manager based in Virginia Beach to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of federal construction projects. You will liaise with government contracting personnel, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires NAVFAC and USAF experience, strong Primavera P6 skills, and proven ability to manage budgets, procurement, submittals, changes, and closeout while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on federal contracts.
• Direct work history with NAVFAC and the U.S. Air Force is required.
• Hands-on Primavera P6 experience to update schedules and analyze critical paths.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, procurement, RFIs, changes, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of federal construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure compliance with federal contract requirements.
• Use Primavera P6 to update schedules, review critical path, and explain impacts to stakeholders.
