Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead federal construction efforts from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with senior leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and federal agencies such as USACE or NAVFAC to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The PM will manage submittals, cost and schedule activities, and support quality and safety programs while ensuring adherence to federal contract requirements and active communication with government

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience coordinating field teams and government inspectors is preferred.
• Exposure to federal construction projects (USACE/NAVFAC) is advantageous.
• Familiar with federal contracting processes and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a strong Safety Culture aligned with federal requirements.
• Assist field teams in enforcing safety procedures and standards.
• Participate in safety inspections and pre‑task planning.
• Prepare and review cost reports, schedules, and procurement tracking.
• Coordinate with USACE/NAVFAC representatives, QA personnel, and inspectors.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely communications.
