Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Construction Manager/Foreman to lead on-site execution of projects up to $50 million, overseeing a crew of 1–8 and assisting the Superintendent with daily field operations. The role emphasizes self-performed electrical scopes, coordination of crews, safety, and adherence to schedules and drawings.

You will direct electricians, operators, conduit installers, laborers and other crafts, ensuring work meets specifications, while communicating delays and resource needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction management or foreman experience on projects $20m+.
• Residential experience is not eligible.
• Federal construction project experience preferred (CBP, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, DHS).
• Experience leading and overseeing a crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily field operations for assigned construction activities, with a focus on self-performed electrical scopes.
• Direct in-house field crews, including electricians, equipment operators, conduit installers, laborers and other craft personnel.
• Coordinate daily work with the Superintendent, align with weekly/daily schedules, determine crews, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor field production and report delays, manpower issues, material shortages, or obstacles to the Superintendent.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and quality requirements; identify installation issues.
• Enforce site safety requirements and address unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Participate in daily field meetings, safety meetings, and planning discussions.
• Support inspections, testing, punch-list activities, and closeout work; ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Maintain accountability for crew productivity and workmanship.
