Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies seeks an experienced Cost Estimator to develop independent government cost estimates for long-term projects and current maintenance at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) in Laurel, Maryland, the primary training facility for the United States Secret Service.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, at least 5 years of federal construction estimating experience, and the ability to obtain security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction and cost estimating experience on federal projects.
• Experience managing or supporting construction projects through estimating, planning, execution, and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to obtain government security clearance and travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project management support for assigned construction projects.
• Support COR and senior leadership in contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, and facility personnel.
• Review schedules, designs, drawings for conformance.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and cost estimates.
• Support site visits and contract modifications.
• Attend meetings and draft change orders.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements.
• Assist with project closeout and turnover.
