Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Cloud Migration Engineer to plan, execute, and validate transitions from the Judiciary's VM data center to private clouds. Collaboration with application teams is essential to ensure successful migrations. All migrations use FedRAMP-authorized clouds only.

The role requires strong SDLC/Agile knowledge, experience with AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle, and DevSecOps practices, with emphasis on governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud migration experience with major federal IT applications.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle cloud providers.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Familiar with open-source apps (e.g., LAMP).
• Familiar with Ansible, Git, and Docker.
• Familiar with Bash, YAML, Python, and PHP.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise migration planning for applications.
• Application refactoring and migration implementation.
• Maintain software code baseline and implement enhancements.
• Coordinate with application teams and stakeholders.
• Document processes and report work hours daily.
• Interact with end users on scenarios.
• Manage security findings and compliance with AO policies.
