Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Architect to own the cloud architecture for the program, setting technical direction for Kubernetes, GitOps, and IaC standards. You will lead migration from legacy systems to cloud-native, containerized architectures, ensuring security is integrated from the start.

The role requires 4+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with IaC, containerization, and cloud security fundamentals, plus at least 1 year in an architecture role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) including infrastructure-as-code, containerization and orchestration, and cloud security fundamentals
• At least 1 year in an architecture or design-authority role
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or 4+ years of equivalent experience/certifications in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Architectural direction and standards for the program's cloud environment, spanning the engineering teams that build against it
• Cloud adoption and migration strategy for the program, including legacy-to-cloud-native transitions
• Decisions on infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD tooling for the program's environment
• Security and compliance embedded into the program's cloud architecture — RMF processes and cloud security controls
