Job summary

PGTEK seeks a Cloud AI Engineer (Mid-Level) to design, implement and manage secure Google Cloud solutions for federal clients. You will migrate legacy workloads, implement IaC with Terraform, and support FedRAMP/DoD environments while guiding junior engineers.

This onsite role requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility, U.S. citizenship, and travel across the continental U.S. The position offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing and supporting Google Cloud Platform or comparable enterprise cloud environments.
• Experience migrating enterprise workloads from on-premises infrastructure to public cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with gcloud.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions for federal customers.
• Lead cloud migration planning from legacy infrastructure to Google Cloud.
• Architect highly available cloud infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
• Configure IAM, KMS, and security controls; deploy GKE and Cloud Run.
• Build IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines; automate deployments.
• Mentor Associate Cloud AI Engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
