Job summary

PGTEK is hiring an Associate Cloud AI Engineer to join a team serving U.S. federal clients onsite at various locations. The role emphasizes deploying and securing Google Cloud environments, migrating workloads, and building AI-enabled cloud services.

You will work with senior engineers, gain hands‑on experience with GCP, and pursue growth toward a Cloud Architect role while maintaining strong security practices and federal compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of cloud infrastructure support or enterprise IT experience.
• Familiarity with Linux, networking, and scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deploying and configuring Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Configure IAM roles, resource hierarchies, and security policies.
• Support GCP workloads, VMs, GKE, Cloud Run and data services.
• Collaborate on IaC deployments using Terraform and related tools.
• Monitor environments and assist with security and compliance for FedRAMP/DoD.
