Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation seeks a Clearance Coordinator to support pre-employment background investigations for suitability and security clearance eligibility, including for Presidential Appointees and Foreign/Civil Service applicants. You will report to a Government Office/Program Director and work with a designated team lead.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in the U.S. required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in personnel security/suitability.
• Knowledge of security requirements in legislation and policy statements.
• Experience with fingerprinting, biometrics, and background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and apply federal policies to determine eligibility and reciprocity.
• Quality assurance of requests for investigation and adjudication.
• Determine need for full background investigation vs reciprocity or transfer of eligibility.
• Serve as technical authority on personnel security guidelines and regulations.
• Research candidates’ investigative history using federal databases and prepare reports.
