Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a senior security leader to serve as Chief Information Security Officer for BCG Federal. You will define enterprise cybersecurity strategy, lead a ~25-person cyber organization, and manage boundary controls between federal enclaves and global infrastructure.

You will ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and CMMC 2, aligning with legal and security leadership. The role collaborates with BCG Global IT and IT leadership while enabling client mission

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of IT security and information assurance experience, including 2–4+ years in DIB or national security.
• 7+ years of multi-disciplinary IT team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCC-High/Azure Government and AWS DevOps/IAM baselines.
• In-depth understanding of NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 7012, CMMC 2, and DCSA oversight.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical/government discipline; AI/cybersecurity coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise security strategy and brief GSC; align with federal missions.
• Direct a cybersecurity organization across security operations, compliance, and IAM.
• Coordinate with Global CISO to maintain boundary isolation between enclaves.
• Oversee cloud security architecture for GCC-High, Azure Government, and AWS DevOps.
• Own compliance for NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 7012, CMMC 2; lead SSP and audits.
• Collaborate with Legal/FSO to administer security controls and TCP.
• Partner with capture and delivery teams to architect secure client solutions.
• Provide governance for AI tools and emerging tech in CUI environments.
