Afognak Native Corporation is soliciting a Chief Financial Officer, Federal, to lead the Federal Operations Finance team and report to the Corporate CFO. The role may be based in Huntsville, Alabama, or remote within the United States, managing financial reporting for Federal contracts and ensuring compliance with GAAP, FAR, and related standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive finance management within the Federal Government Contracting arena.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance is required.
• Certified Public Accountant designation or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, and CAS is required.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Federal Operations Finance staff.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the federal segment financial position per GAAP, FAR, CAS.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for Federal contracts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate ethics and internal controls in federal contracting.
