Job summary

Financeroles is seeking a Strategic Management and Financial Planning Coordinator to support the Policy, Planning, and Strategy Team under GHSD on humanitarian and health-related U.S. missions. This 6-month role focuses on financial policy, planning, and budgeting across multiple bureaus.

The position reports to a DOS GTM and a Credence supervisor, with responsibilities spanning budget formulation, performance reporting, and strategic planning support for upcoming cycles.

Qualifications

• Active or recently active U.S. government security clearance is required.
• Graduate degree plus 6+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with budget formulation, financial management, and program coordination within federal operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop program financial allocations and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Coordinate budget formulation activities, including taskers, analyses, and supporting materials.
• Prepare funding approval memoranda, congressional notifications, and related financial documents for leadership.
• Support operational planning processes for FY 2027 and future cycles.
• Collaborate across the Bureau to support strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and performance management.
