Job summary

LMI is seeking a skilled Business Financial Manager to support a Customs and Border Protection client in Washington, DC. This telework position requires 1 day per week on site and offers exposure to DHS budget processes, financial analysis, SAP, and leadership opportunities.

The successful candidate will mentor junior budgeting analysts, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with program staff to align budgets with strategic goals while upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal budget formulation and execution.
• Understanding of Acquisition Program Management (MD-102 is a plus).
• Experience with SAP and INVEST.
• Proficiency with SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support budget formulation for CBP programs by compiling estimated costs and scenarios.
• Collaborate with program staff to develop RAPs and CJs.
• Provide analysis to ensure budgets align with strategic goals and policies.
• Enter Purchase Requisitions into SAP from Spend Plans.
• Maintain program and contractor cost baselines.
• Develop and execute project spend plans and review resource utilization.
