Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Budget & Financial Analysis professional to support the PPBE lifecycle for federal programs. You will assist in budget analysis, data processing, and dashboard development using Tableau and other tools to deliver executive-level insights.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of federal budget experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills to convey complex data to government and contractor audiences. Willingness to obtain/maintain Public Trust is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of federal budget lifecycle experience.
• Strong data analytics experience with large datasets and dashboards.
• Proficient with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for analysis and visualization.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication in a federal environment.
• Ability to present insights to senior leadership across government and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget and cost analysis work products for PPBE lifecycle support.
• Support documentation of budget processes and reporting data findings.
• Collect and update operational and financial data from systems and SMEs.
• Standardize data requests and data cleansing across budget analyses.
• Manipulate large data sets using relevant software (e.g., Tableau, CostPerform, RStudio).
• Produce dashboards, annual reports, and scenario calculators with government leads.
