Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years general experience or a bachelor’s degree or a combination of experience and education.
• GS-7 requires 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade or equivalent.
• GS-9 requires 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspect individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility.
• Prevent illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.
