Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years general experience or a bachelor's degree
• GS-7 requires inspecting and evaluating documents for law enforcement purposes
• GS-9 requires advanced education or specialized experience with strong KSAOs

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
• Inspect individuals and conveyances for admissibility
• Manage the flow of legitimate trade and travel
• Conduct border seizures and enforce entry requirements
• Apply procedures to prevent smuggling and illegal activities
