Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires three years of general experience demonstrating problem review, data gathering and communication, or equivalent; ability to plan and organize work.
• GS-7 requires one year of specialized experience at GS-5 level in entitlement assistance, adjudication or policy explanation to the public.
• GS-9 requires 52 weeks of specialized experience at GS-7 level including entitlement assistance, adjudication or evaluation of program operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in establishing entitlement to receive benefits (retirement, disability, public aid, insurance, taxes).
• Explain benefits entitlements or requirements to the general public.
• Evaluate benefit program operations to assess integrity and quality.
