Job summary

Constellis is seeking an Investigator to conduct federal background investigations and prepare reports in compliance with Federal Investigative Standards and applicable laws. You will work cases across the geographic area of responsibility and travel to locations of employment, residence and education institutions, with local duties in El Centro, CA.

The role requires a valid SSBI or active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of investigations experience (federal/state/local).
FIS experience preferred and SSBI/clearance eligibility.
Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Conduct investigations and interview subjects to obtain factual information.
Travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility to conduct investigations at various locations.
Interviews and reporting in line with agency guidelines and instructions.
Travel 30–50 miles as needed and work flexible hours.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence and use MS Office.
