Job summary

Constellis is seeking an Investigator to conduct federal investigations and prepare compliant reports under Federal Investigative Standards. The role involves field work across the designated geographic area, frequent travel, and collaboration with U.S.

Government agencies and law enforcement, while operating from a home office and a personal vehicle. A valid SSBI/Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year (in last 5 years) investigations experience at federal, state, or local level.
• Must have Federal Investigator Standards (FIS) experience.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments (by car or plane).
• Pass all required training.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle varied instructions.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and journals.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office suite.
• Current SSBI or Secret clearance and ability to obtain clearance.
• Occasional standing, writing, walking, sitting, and driving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews to obtain factual information.
• Produce an investigation report with all pertinent facts.
• Travel across geographic area of responsibility to locations.
• Interact with managers, government agencies, and law enforcement.
• Adapt to changing environments and demographics.
• Maintain professional demeanor in all situations.
• Work from home office and use personal vehicle for field visits.
• Occasional temporary duty assignments of 2–4 weeks.
