Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience presenting project status, issues, and recommendations to client stakeholders.

You will work with leading‑class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You’ll Do

• Leading finance and accounting transformation engagements across areas such as controllership, close and consolidation, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial planning support
• Advising client stakeholders on operating model, process, and governance improvements that support finance function performance and business objectives
• Managing engagement teams, workstreams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple phases of complex client service delivery
• Identifying client issues, developing recommendations, and presenting solution approaches, implementation plans, and status updates to senior stakeholders
• Supporting business development activities including opportunity identification, proposal development, pursuit leadership, and client relationship management

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• ActiveSecretsecurity clearance required
• Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• 8+ years of experience in finance transformation, accounting advisory, controllership, or enterprise finance operations
• 4+ years of experience leading project teams, workstreams, or client deliverables
• 4+ years of experience developing recommendations for finance process improvement, operating model design, or transformation execution
• 4+ years of experience presenting project status, issues, and recommendations to client stakeholders

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• Certified Public Accountant certification
• Experience with enterprise resource planning transformation or finance technology implementation
• Experience supporting proposal development or business development pursuits

This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $193,300 to $322,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
