Job summary

AutogenAI is seeking a Technical Lead to own the US federal/GovCon-facing technical agenda and lead a small, high-impact team delivering US product-facing work. You’ll communicate with sales, translate requirements into engineering reality, and represent the technical side credibly alongside your peers.

You’ll lead a DevSecOps Engineer and a Forward Deployed Engineer, staying hands-on and accountable for outcomes.

Qualifications

7+ years in technical roles, with direct GovCon/federal experience.
Client-facing experience representing engineering in enterprise discussions.
Leadership experience managing or mentoring engineers.
Familiarity with our TypeScript stack: Express, NestJS, React; Python bonus.
Hands-on DevOps/platform knowledge to contribute when needed.
US Citizens or Green Card holders only.

Responsibilities

Represent Engineering as the technical counterpart to sales for federal GovCon stakeholders.
Rapid prototyping of demoable features aligned with direct sales or customer needs.
Lead US product-facing delivery from scoping through delivery with global teams.
Manage and grow a small engineering team; unblock and guide them.
Contribute hands-on to platform, DevOps, and infra as needed.
Bridge US requirements (FedRAMP High, GovCon) with the wider product.
Build trust with federal customers through direct collaboration and delivery.
Support federal deployments and on-call rotation with the team.
