You will translate strategic objectives into executable policy campaigns, advise internal teams, and manage policymaker relationships to advance our policy goals.

Based in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC, you will work with the government affairs team and broader organization to shape policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of policy experience in government or as a policy advocate.
• Demonstrated success in advancing legislative and regulatory outcomes.
• Strong drafting, briefing, and advocacy communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders to inform and develop public policy positions.
• Translate policy issues into effective advocacy campaigns and manage coalitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Senate policymakers and staff.
• Identify targets and align them to Anthropic's policy priorities with substance and impact.
• Collaborate with Federal Affairs and other teams to coordinate strategy and execution.
• Track progress with clear milestones and leadership reporting.
