Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Manager of Government Affairs to lead the company’s U.S. federal government strategy at the intersection of quantum technology, national security, space, energy, research, and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Vice President of Government Affairs, this role will support congressional engagement, appropriations and authorization activity, agency outreach, policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, and executive briefing preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5+ years in government affairs or related fields.
• Understanding of federal budget, appropriations, authorization, and legislative processes; experience translating on policy into business recommendations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and briefing skills for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tracking systems for congressional, agency, appropriations, authorization, regulatory, and policy activity.
• Monitor and analyze federal legislation, appropriations, NDAA activity, agency budgets, committee hearings and regulatory developments; summarize implications and next steps.
• Support execution of congressional engagement plans, including outreach to Member offices and agency officials.
• Prepare high-quality briefing materials, one-pagers, leave-behinds, talking points, hearing summaries, policy memos, and engagement plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams to connect policy opportunities with customer needs, program objectives, funding pathways, and Infleqtion’s technology roadmap.
• Support appropriations and authorization efforts, including draft requests, report language concepts, and letters of support.
• Plan and coordinate congressional and agency meetings, Hill days, executive visits, and industry events.
• Maintain operating rhythm for government affairs priorities, including meeting notes and deadlines.
• Support Infleqtion’s participation in industry associations and policy forums.
• Help manage outside consultants to ensure consistent messaging and timely execution.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance on lobbying, ethics, travel, and export control requirements.
• Create executive briefings, policy memos, board updates, and strategic engagement plans.
• Represent Infleqtion in external meetings and prepare leaders for engagements.
