Job summary

Lukos is seeking an Acquisition and Budget Analyst to support NCCIH in Bethesda, MD. The contractor will work with executive leadership to manage contracts, develop budget analyses, and ensure timely reporting aligned with government requirements.

The role emphasizes budget forecasting, cost tracking, and coordination with acquisition and financial personnel to mitigate risks and improve process effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years supporting federal acquisition, budget, financial, or resource analysis.
• Direct experience with HHS or NIH acquisition and budget processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budget estimates, forecasts, and expenditure analyses for supported activities.
• Develop and implement a wide range of advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve effectiveness for complex processes and projects.
• Perform tracking, monitoring, and coordination activities.
• Plan and conduct analysis, as needed.
• Track current and projected staffing costs, funding allocations, and estimates to complete.
• Prepare financial data for monthly, annual, and final contract reports.
• Analyze resource requirements and identify potential cost, schedule, or funding impacts.
• Support acquisition planning and administrative documentation under Government direction.
• Reconcile financial information and investigate discrepancies before reporting.
• Coordinate with designated acquisition or financial personnel.
• Provide analyses and recommendations without performing inherently governmental functions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (BA/BS), Master’s preferred
