Overview
TISTA is seeking a creative and talented Health Capture Manager to join our high-performing growth team. This individual will be responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities in the health market, specifically Veterans Affairs and occasionally HHS. The successful candidate possesses technical education and related professional experience, resourcefulness, and motivation to join a cohesive, winning team. The position reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Capture & Growth.

Responsibilities
- Leads capture efforts to secure new, strategic contracts
- Supports the development of a healthy, diverse, and sustainable sales pipeline of opportunities
- Improves capture win rate through continuous improvement of capture best practices
- Creates and presents deal review presentations for corporate capture gate approvals
- Collaborates closely with other functional areas, including Executive, Operations, Technology, Proposals, Contracts, and Pricing teams
- Works with solution, business development, and business unit leads on strategic opportunities; analyzes customer requirements, competitors, and internal capabilities
- Applies knowledge of proven best practices in sales and capture management processes
- Helps develop and negotiate teaming arrangements with potential partners, including work share and marketing arrangements
- Participates in color team proposal reviews
- Provides data for weekly opportunity reviews and capture plan updates
- Forecasts opportunity targets and tracks activity on accounts to close deals
- Performs market, competitor, and price-to-win analyses
- Ensures solutions offered are competitively distinguished and meet client needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years in Capture or growth roles
- 5+ years in federal contracting
- Proven success in leading capture and winning at least two federal contracts over $10M
- Knowledge of Health IT innovations (AI/ML, Data Interoperability, Big Data, Blockchain)
- Understanding of SDLC, IT Operations, Management, and Agile SAFe methodologies
- Deep familiarity with Veterans Affairs; experience with HHS is a plus
- Strong relationships with government contacts
- Results-focused, milestone-based capture management skills
- Diplomatic, persuasive communication style
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; capable of leading diverse groups
- Ability to develop engaging presentations
- Self-motivated with flexibility for multiple priorities
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Team player with proactive engagement in all business development phases
- Effective interaction with all organizational levels
- Track record of winning new business as prime or subcontractor
- Experience with Sales CRM
Education
- Undergraduate degree in business management or related field from an accredited college or university
Work Location
- Remote, with ability to attend in-person meetings at TISTA's HQ in Rockville, MD, or Tysons Corner, VA, and at client sites nationwide
Compensation
- Salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000, depending on skills, experience, and location
- Eligible for variable incentive based on deals closed
