You’ll break news, build sources, and create shareable social posts while delivering dynamic live shots. This role requires a take-charge journalist who thrives under pressure and collaboration.

You will plan, gather, and produce day-of and enterprise stories, supporting news managers with distinctive angles and exclusive content.

Qualifications

• Professional reporting experience.
• Commitment to enterprise and data-driven reporting.
• Demo reel that is indicative of everyday work.
• Ability to write clear, correct, compelling copy tied directly to video.
• Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Ability to work varied shifts including overnights and weekends.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Related military experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan, gather, and produce stories for day-of news coverage and special project assignments.
• Collaborate with news managers and producers to develop stories that go beyond the surface, spotlight enterprise angles, and deliver exclusive content.
• Consistently contribute updated information, video, photos, and other elements to multiple platforms throughout the day.
• Embrace new technology and adapt to evolving demands to stay relevant in a multi-media environment.
• Build and maintain a strong network of sources who provide tips and early access to information to break impactful stories.
• Manage multiple stories and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Demonstrate unwavering journalistic integrity and the highest ethical standards.
