WCVB-TV, Boston’s ABC affiliate, seeks a fearless Reporter who can turn great storytelling into must-watch content across platforms. You’ll break news, build sources, and create shareable social posts while delivering dynamic live shots. This role requires a take-charge journalist who thrives under pressure and collaboration.

You will plan, gather, and produce day-of and enterprise stories, supporting news managers with distinctive angles and exclusive content.

Qualifications

• Professional reporting experience.
• Commitment to enterprise and data-driven reporting.
• Demo reel that is indicative of everyday work.
• Ability to write clear, correct, compelling copy tied directly to video.
• Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Ability to work varied shifts including overnights and weekends.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Related military experience will be considered.

The estimated salary for this role is between $114,000 and $135,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
