Job summary

Samsung Electronics seeks an experiencedMaintenance Engineer to oversee performance management of production equipment and drive preventative maintenance programs in the manufacturing environment.

You will lead a small team, ensure maintenance completion with minimal downtime, and propose improvements to equipment for reliability and efficiency. Strong engineering background and significant experience in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• Typically 8+ years of related experience; or 6 years with a Master’s; or 3 years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage performance management plan items by checking the equipment used in the production process.
• Establish and manage preventative maintenance items implemented before failure or defects in performance or quality are found.
• Manage maintenance of equipment with failure or defects in performance or quality.
• Suggest improvement measures and manage equipment remodeling or upgrades in the production process.

2. Maximize investment efficiency by carrying out scientific and economical maintenance tasks for equipment used in production process.
3. Conduct maintenance of equipment used in production process without any environmental safety-related accidents.

Role and Responsibilities
