Ingram Micro seeks an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, delivery, and scaling of AI-powered business solutions built on the Microsoft AI stack. You will define reference architectures and reusable assets for global deployment.

Responsibilities include owning the technical vision, leading lighthouse engagements, building AI agents with Microsoft tools, and mentoring engineers across regions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience building production AI applications on Microsoft technologies.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and modern agent architectures.
  • Experience designing scalable reference architectures, engineering frameworks, and reusable software assets.
  • Strong knowledge of retrieval, grounding, model orchestration, AI security, governance, and observability.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives in complex enterprise environments and influencing without direct authority.

About The Role

Lead the design, delivery, and scaling of AI-powered business solutions built on the Microsoft AI stack. Define reference architectures, engineering standards, reusable assets, and production-ready agent solutions that can be deployed globally across customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical vision, architecture standards, and reusable patterns for AI solutions across the organization.
  • Lead customer-zero and lighthouse engagements, delivering production AI solutions from discovery through deployment.
  • Build and deploy AI agents using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Define security, governance, performance, and deployment standards for enterprise AI solutions.
  • Create reusable accelerators, reference architectures, playbooks, and engineering assets that scale across customers and regions.
  • Package mature AI solutions into repeatable services and marketplace-ready offerings.
  • Mentor engineers and influence global partner delivery teams on best practices and technical direction.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, including 5+ years delivering enterprise cloud or AI solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience building production AI applications on Microsoft technologies.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and modern agent architectures.
  • Experience designing scalable reference architectures, engineering frameworks, and reusable software assets.
  • Strong knowledge of retrieval, grounding, model orchestration, AI security, governance, and observability.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives in complex enterprise environments and influencing without direct authority.
Preferred
  • Experience with multi-model environments including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Microsoft models.
  • Experience working with Microsoft, cloud consulting firms, GSIs, or enterprise AI practices.
  • Background building marketplace-ready AI services and managed offerings.
AI & Certification Requirements
  • Active daily user of frontier AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Must attain Microsoft Frontier Transformation Engineer badge within six months of joining.
  • Expected certifications include GH-300, AI-102/AI-103, and AB-100.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,900.00 - $270,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
