Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Crimes Compliance - AI to lead analytics and data initiatives across FCC. You will drive optimization of monitoring tools, build advanced data visualizations, and guide a small team through complex regulatory projects.

The role emphasizes a risk-based approach, collaboration with technology, and scalable solutions that reduce costs while improving detection capabilities. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in BSA/AML & Financial Crimes or similar field.
• Masters or MBA in related field required.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage teams.
• Strong analytical and data visualization capabilities, with programming tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FCC analytics and data program, setting direction on data, analytics and technology systems.
• Oversee monitoring tool optimization and cost-effective improvements to data platforms.
• Lead regulatory examination support and development/deployment of detective systems.
• Provide strategic and operational direction to a small professional team on large projects.
• Communicate effectively with technology teams and FCC leadership; articulate needs and solutions.
• Drive data and process initiatives to revolutionize how the bank uses data for risk detection.
• Oversee tuning of transaction monitoring, Customer Risk Rating scoring, and sanctions monitoring.
• Establish and maintain a robust FCC model governance program under Model Risk Management guidelines.
