Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Crimes Compliance - AI to lead the analytics and data program for the FCC. You will coordinate with technology teams, drive data optimization across monitoring tools, and guide the deployment of advanced analytic techniques to enhance risk detection and efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in BSA/AML, banking operations, and leadership, with a focus on innovative technologies to reduce costs while ensuring

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in BSA/AML & Financial Crimes or similar field.
• Masters or MBA in related field required.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and experience using SAS, R or other statistical software.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical techniques and cutting edge technologies.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FCC analytics and data program.
• Oversee data, analytics, and technology systems for FCC.
• Lead enhancements of the BSA/AML platform and tools.
• Optimize monitoring tools and data visualization capabilities.
• Support FIU and EDD workflow staffing analyses.
• Ensure risk-based project execution and regulatory support.
• Supervise a small team with strategic and operational direction.
