Job summary

Job Summary

Analyzes, researches and consults on a variety of internal and external business information in support of planning and decision-making. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and distribution of timely and accurate reports for supported areas. Manages assigned ad hoc projects of a medium level of complexity using multiple data resources.

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for assigned projects that are critical to the business needs of the department/division. Handles all aspects of managing a project including researching, developing, planning, implementing (where applicable) and evaluating. Responsible for the development, analysis, maintenance, and distribution of reports for assigned departments. Prepares and presents information to introduce changes and new concepts and provides training as needed. Maintains and produces extensive reports as assigned. Works directly with clients to incorporate modifications as requested (i.e., production, licensing, and budget reports.) Resolves assigned ad hoc requests by writing or modifying simple queries and compiling the resulting information into reports, graphs or charts that can be used by supported areas to make informed business decisions. Assists in the maintenance of the processes, programs, databases, and other technical resources used to provide staff and management with efficient online access to forms, documents, and other information / tools necessary to service customers. May assist in the development / processing of change requests that impact technology, reporting, space / equipment, etc. for the assigned business unit(s). Provides research and consultative services to supported areas and offers recommendations that may result in gained efficiencies and improved productivity. Assists in the design and develop development of flowcharts of existing and proposed procedures / processes. Provides verbal or written status of assigned projects to all involved parties including, but not limited to, clients, outside accounts, and vendors. Schedules personal workflow to allow time for completion and follow through of assigned projects to ensure all requirements are met in a timely, controlled and quality manner. Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10-lbs. maximum, and seeing.

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment

Education Requirements
