Job summary

Hudson's Furniture is seeking a Sales Manager in Training to develop leadership skills while excelling on the sales floor. You will learn the business, close sales, and work toward advancement into Sales Management within 6-12 months.

The program targets proven sales performers in a family-owned, values-driven culture with opportunities for high earnings through uncapped commissions. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience or success in a performance-driven environment.
• Competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence approaching customers, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Coachable and willing to master our sales process before leading others.
• Motivated by performance-based earning potential.
• Available to work weekends and peak retail periods.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and identify their needs.
• Recommend furniture and design solutions.
• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Present financing and protection plan options.
• Follow up with customers and build repeat and referral business.
• Learn store operations, coaching, and performance management.
• Participate in leadership development and training.
